When I was young in years, I hadn’t the time invested in this life to see the goodness that can eventually develop from circumstances with unfortunate beginnings. With age has come the gift of reflection, which has allowed me to see how difficult periods in my life eventually led to opportunities; And, provided lifelong lessons that made me more humble, forgiving and understanding.
I’ve come to know that life doesn’t always stack high on the good side of the scale; But, if I pursue with the belief that there’s good to be unveiled, I’ll eventually uncover it. Sometimes life simply needs time to ripen before it reveals its sweetness.
